Vernique Noel was the Event and Research Program Manager at SESYNC from 2021 to 2023. She was previously the Travel and Event Coordinator and a Faculty Assistant at SESYNC, having joined the Center in 2016. In her most recent role, Vernique was responsible for managing SESYNC’s external community of researchers, including teams’ communications with the Center; their projects’ statuses and progress; and the planning, scheduling, and completion of their meetings. She also corresponded with principal investigators and all participants regarding their travel arrangements for funded meetings and SESYNC events. In addition, she helped to assess and track program data for all SESYNC projects and center participants.
Vernique holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also holds an advanced certification in research administration through the University of Maryland's Office of Research Administration.
